The ECO range of filter presses have replaced the high-pressure hydraulic cylinder with a low-pressure water or air bag, and, because of this, they can be considered the first completely ecological, zero-impact filter presses ever (less noise and environmental pollution). They are highly efficient, low-maintenance, easy-to-handle machines, which dehydrate even sludge with a residual humidity of less than 15%.

Such extremely high qualitative standards and a strong construction add up to lots of additional features, supplied as standard, such as an automatic PLC-assisted operating unit, lots of stainless steel parts, automatic shaking system, and lots more.



Finally, ASTEC hydro-pneumatic bag system extends the life of all cloths and mechanical gears by perfectly distributing and minimising stress on the plates, cloths and any other parts exposed to stress during the filtration process.

THE RANGE
The ECO range of ASTEC filter presses is divided into two families and three technological levels:

• Upper beam (ECO OH range)
• Side beam (ECO SB range)

Then, both ranges are available with different pressure levels:

• 7/15 bar – Standard pressure (SP range)
• 30 bar – High pressure (HP range)
• 60 bar – Ultra high pressure (UHP range)
